Because all our Peru holidays are tailormade, we can add on extensions to any trip at any time - you don't need to worry about your flight details or travel dates. It also means that we can add on only the things you're interested in. For example, if you want to go to Bolivia but only to visit the Salar de Uyuni salt flats, then we won't try and take you around churches in La Paz - or vice versa, of course! If you'd like to hear more about adding an extension to your holiday in Peru, then contact us to find out more!
Ecuador and the Galapagos
This is one of the most popular extensions to our Peru holidays and, much as we might claim the Ballestas Islands as "Peru's Galapagos", we can understand why you'd want to see the real thing! We can add a trip to the Galapagos on to your holiday in Peru at any point and for any length of time and because we partner with one of the leading operators in Ecuador, we can be sure that you're getting the same standard of service and expert knowledge that you can expect here on our holidays in Peru. The Galapagos Islands are a unique environment and a truly special place so it would almost be rude not to...
Bolivia
Bolivia is a fascinating country but one which has been slow to open up to tourists, although plenty of backpackers have sent back glowing reports of this Andean country's many attractions. From the stunning architecture, churches and musuems of La Paz to the tropical forests of Beni and the salt sea of the Salar de Uyuni, there's plenty to see and do and we've teamed up with the best in the business in Bolivia to let you add it on to your trip to Peru. It may not always be easy but it could be the final touch to your Peru holiday!
The most interesting way to travel to Bolivia from Peru is to cross Lake Titicaca by catamaran from the Peruvian port of Puno. You can combine this journey with visits to the Uros islands but you also get to see the Inca temples to the Sun and Moon on the Bolivian side of the lake before you get to the town of Copacabana. You can spend some time relaxing here or head on to the capital, La Paz, which is a natural base of operations. From La Paz we can organise trips to just about anywhere in Bolivia so just let us know what you'd like to see: Potosi? Sucre? Santa Cruz? The town where Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid met their sticky end? We can take care of all of it!
Bonaire and the Carribean
One of the most popular holiday flights to Peru from the UK is on KLM, and these flights stop over in Bonaire - an island in the Dutch Antilles. With the standard KLM ticket, it's usually possible to arrange a two-day stopover in Bonaire on the way back from your Peru holidays, giving you a chance to relax on the beach and go swimming in the Carribean after your trip to Peru! We're happy to help arrange this for you and we can book hotels in Bonaire, arrange for you to be met at the airport, and all the other things you need to make this Carribean extension to your holiday in Peru go smoothly.
